Parental Counseling
As parents, it is our greatest wish to raise happy children and provide them with the necessary tools for life.
Unfortunately, we often face gaps between our self-expectations and wishes for our children and reality.
The role of parenting is complex because we internalize our experiences with our parents, the child within us, and our identification with our children. Sometimes there is a natural confusion between our needs and desires and our children’s.
I work with parents in my clinic to understand their family dynamic, child and parent needs, their strengths and difficulties, analyze the parent-child relationship, and find concrete solutions to the problems they face.
In parental counseling, we look through a wider lens, viewing children and relationships from alternative perspectives to make positive and lasting change.
Working on the vital role of parenting offers a unique opportunity for personal development.
