Elinor's Clinic Space

About Me

I am a licensed Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie providing counseling and therapy for individuals, couples, and groups. My professional background is rooted in Psychodrama, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Expressive Arts Therapy, incorporating experiential and somatic (body-oriented) approaches.

I bring years of clinical experience supporting clients as they navigate complex relationship dynamics, identity shifts, anxiety, personal crises, and the unique challenges of living between cultures. My therapeutic approach is deeply relational, active, and thoughtfully tailored to the specific needs of the person, couple, or group in the room with me.

Clinical Focus

I specialize in working with individuals navigating immigration and cross-cultural transitions, identity crises, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship challenges, and major life milestones.

These human experiences frequently intersect. Relocating to a new country can profoundly unsettle your sense of identity and belonging. Unprocessed grief can easily manifest as acute anxiety, and relationship struggles often bring deeply rooted fears and historical patterns to the surface. What may initially present as a singular issue is often intertwined with multiple layers of your life experience. My practice provides a safe, non-judgmental space to unpack what you are experiencing in the present, trace the roots of these feelings back to earlier experiences, and collaboratively build a path forward.

My Therapeutic Approach

My style as a therapist is interactive, creative, and fundamentally client-centered. I utilize an integrative approach, weaving together Psychodrama, EFT, and CBT with experiential and somatic techniques.

Depending on your unique needs, our sessions may focus on navigating present-day challenges, identifying recurring relational or emotional patterns, healing past experiences that still hold weight, or exploring how you physically process emotions in your body. When traditional talk therapy doesn't feel like enough, I frequently incorporate experiential interventions—such as role-playing, guided imagery, movement, and other creative modalities—to help bypass cognitive blocks and access deeper emotional insight.

Every therapeutic journey is entirely customized. Sometimes our work will be concrete and solution-focused, aimed at resolving a pressing difficulty. At other times, the work requires us to slow down, holding space to understand more deeply what is happening beneath the surface and where it originates.
